Massage Therapy for Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA)
Rheumatoid
arthritis affects the joints, particularly hands,
feet and knees. Other parts of the body can also be
affected. Due to inflammation, the joints are
painful, swollen and movement becomes restricted. This inflammation can result in damage to the
joints.
The onset of rheumatoid arthritis is usually in
middle life. Approximately three quarters of those
affected are female. There are varying degrees of
severity.

On the lateral side of the anterior wrist crease, in
the depression on the radial side of the radial
artery.
Massage the point by thumb for 1-3 minutes.
